Okay so it felt good to make 45 minutes of focus this morning to wrangle a few paragraphs out of my head and post something for the first time in ages:
Canyonlands. Among my favorite places to wander in silence. Never before had I ever seen this much, let alone any at all for that matter, running water here. The quiet bubbling of water through desert rocks was mesmerizing. Taken with a tiny plastic point and shoot film camera.
Alternatively, I may ALSO start posting photos here in this timeline. I rather like how simple it is here and am looking for ways to streamline posting online for my own sanity. Ah, and if your somehow here and don’t know that project its here: yesterdaywasonly.net
I’ve been posting photos again, quietly. As much as I love Flickr I sort of like the idea of continuing my old Yesterday Was Only project that started as a daily photo that ended up in a printed book as a place to not overthink sharing.

The theme for fiftyfootshadows.net was designed and coded in 2011 and had only tiny updates through the years and has zero modern features for updating it and includes some custom coding that makes it tricky to alter much. I like my vintage code but it does make change difficult.
Considering ways to tie this into my main site at fiftyfootshadows.net for easy, quick posting. My life no longer lends itself to spending hours on posts often but I miss sharing. I setup 50ft.today and 50ft.me as its own space but its lonely there.
